Im sure there are many of you out there searching for helpful information pertaining to the Hair Clippers and Trimmers you may or may not already have or are trying to decide which one you should purchase next. For this topic there are only a few reasons why your Andis Clipper or Trimmer might be failing. Before deciding if its time to replace or return your Andis Clipper or Trimmer check out some of the things to look for first. Why Are My Andis Clippers Not Working? Is your machine plugged into a working outlet or power strip? Checking this first could be the only problem If your machine is plugged in and the switch has been turned to the on position and your blades still aren't moving try to remember when was the last time you oiled your blades. Have you ever oiled the blades? Applying a couple drops of oil before you using the machine is very important because oil keeps the world going around. When two pieces of metal are sliding back and forth against each other if they become dry they will get hot which will then result in them coming to a screeching halt thus not moving and definitely not cutting. My machine is plugged, turning on, blades are oiled and moving but still not cutting. Well then my friend it might be time to bring it into our shop to have them sharpened. The other worst case scenarios on the other hand could be you might have a bad motor, bad switch or if yours has a circuit board it is very possible these parts may have finally failed or never actually worked from the beginning when you first bought it.
